# AI manifest - Format: [ai-manifest/1](https://ai-manifest.ahnlak.com/spec/1) - Updated: 2026-10-02 - Tools: Claude (hosted) - Default level: none The idea, the requirements and the design decisions are mine. Claude wrote almost all of the files, working from my direction, and I reshaped the format over several rounds: dropping front matter to avoid duplicated data, making the parser follow Markdown's whitespace rules, choosing the name, and setting the URL scheme. ## Design - Level: co-written - Review: full Claude proposed the overall shape: per-area entries, the six levels, and separating who wrote something from how carefully it was reviewed. I changed the structure several times. ## Spec - Level: directed - Review: full The spec text was written by Claude to my decisions. ## Code: Python - Level: delegated - Review: light - Familiarity: proficient - Paths: `site/ai-manifest-check.py`, `build.py` The checker and the build script were written by Claude from a short brief, including the small Markdown converter in the build script. ## Styling - Level: delegated - Review: light - Paths: `site/style.css`, `site/*.html`, `site/favicon.svg` I asked for something clean and script-free, with accessible light and dark modes and a hint of old green-screen terminals. Claude designed it, and I asked for the light-mode banding to be toned down. ## Docs - Level: delegated - Review: full - Paths: `README.md`, `site/template/AI-MANIFEST.md` Includes the "Why" text on the home page, which Claude drafted. ## Ops - Level: delegated - Review: full - Paths: `Caddyfile` The Caddy configuration, tested by Claude against a local Caddy instance. --- *This is an ai-manifest/1 file.*
